Compensation: up to $13/hr, depending on experience Club Congress Door Cashier General Functions Under the direction of the Bar Manager, the Door Cashier is responsible for ensuring an enjoyable environment for all guests of Club Congress. They are the first encounter club goers have and therefore must be informed and enthused. They are required to adhere to Arizona liquor law (classes will be offered) and Hotel Congress Inc. policies regarding consumption of liquor and customer service expectations. They should incorporate the mission and philosophy of the Congress Tap Room, Inc in all conduct and communication with guests and co-workers. Principle Activities Be aware of the planned activities in the club inclusive of the names & brief descriptions of the entertainment; line-up; cost; age limit; & any other pertinent information communicated by management. In essence, you are selling a product, though not tangible, people are paying to come into the club for a form of entertainment. Club Congress is regarded as being the longest-running venue of its kind west of the Mississippi. We are currently hiring Door Staff. General Function: The Door Staff ‘s primary function is enforcing Arizona State Liquor Laws, Hotel Congress rules and regulations and guest services to ensure a safe and enjoyable time for patron of the hotel. This includes age verification, crowd control, dress-code enforcement, intervener in altercations, first aid and ejecting certain patrons from the establishment for causing disturbances or fights. The manner by which the security staff accomplishes their job duties is critical. Principle Activities: Abide by all Arizona Liquor Laws Warmly greets guests as they approach the entrance to the bar. The server is the “point person and liaison’ of our service team. They read the tone of the table, introduce the menu, make suggestions, take orders and orchestrate the pace of the meal through the evening with the help of their assistant. Various responsibilities compromise our expectations for our servers beginning with in depth menu knowledge and a thorough understanding of the restaurant and its culture.

Objectives

  • Greet & ensure all guests receive quality hospitality and service- Every Guest, Every Time.
  • Be knowledgeable of our food, beverages, bar items, their ingredients, our menu’s capabilities
  • Take and accurately place orders through the Aloha system following our Steps of Service and our systems in place
  • Ensure all food and drinks meet our high quality standard.
  • Adhere to and work scheduled shifts.
  • Practice all Pima County Health Department health codes and Maynards Kitchen personal hygiene and uniform standards daily.
  • Maintain a clean & correctly set section and work station throughout each shift.
  • Assist your fellow employees and communicate with management and staff throughout your shift
  • Accurately complete daily and weekly duties.
  • Sincerely express core personality qualities.
  • Knowledge of table numbers & pivot seating for all areas as well as running “Hot Food”
  • Adhere to all Maynards Employee Manual Policies
  • Clock in “work ready” with all tools of the trade per FOH Orientation
