The Maternal Child Health Clinical Nurse Educator provides leadership in advancing the practice of nursing to achieve quality and cost- effective patient outcomes as well as provide leadership of multidisciplinary groups in designing and implementing innovative alternative solutions that address system problems and/or patient care issues.

The Women's Services Nurse Educator will be providing clinical teaching and supervision and directing patient assignment for new and experienced staff. Among other responsibilities, this position will be responsible for teaching didactic classes as well as managing the CETT Drills (Critical Event Team Training). The Maternal Child Health Clinical Nurse Educator collaborates with other educators in the hospital and will cohesively work with the Labor & Delivery Educator.

This 300+ bed hospital seeks a Maternal Child Health Clinical Nurse Educator with minimum five years related clinical experience, including national certification in clinical specialty. Nurse Leaders with their MSN, previous role as an educator/preceptor, or role certification will earn quick interviews.
