Responsible for performing specified Supply Chain duties including ordering, receiving, and delivering goods to ensure departments have supplies and equipment needed to provide excellent patient care.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma required

• Previous experience in healthcare preferred
• Experience creating Bill Only Purchase orders
• Previous experience as a surgical technologist preferred
• Knowledge of orthopedic surgeries with a preference on total knees, total hips and spine surgeries
• Has worked with materials ordering systems in the past with a preference for Meditech
• Experience with Healthcare Materials Management Information System preferred
• A working knowledge of MS Office applications which includes Excel

Essential Functions

• Requisition/place routine and non-routine orders (Purchase Orders) through the Information System
• Receive routine and non-routine purchase orders through the Information System
• Assist with establishing min/max levels
• Perform quarterly physical inventory counts
• Deliver/distribute/replenish supplies/equipment/linen to departments
• Assist in maintaining inventory levels
• Maintain information system item master, including descriptions, pricing, par levels, and expense codes
• Coordinate return shipments and maintain return log
• Keep shelves and storage bins clean and organized
• Monitor back-orders
• Other duties as assigned
