Summary:

The Materials Handler will be responsible for Silk Road Medical’s materials movements. This position transacts material related to incoming receiving, distribution of materials and products to the appropriate inventory locations, and kitting for cross-functional departments in accordance with quality system procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Ensures all goods are properly located and maintained in accordance to storage procedures.
• Performs all receiving activities for inbound goods. Distributing the goods to its proper designated location or recipient.
• Compares purchase orders and packaging lists match with physical product.
• Coordinates RMA receiving with appropriate departments to ensure proper controls, handling, and storage of RMA’s.
• Assists with inventory management activities; routine cycle counts, inventory movement, and provide recommendations for low supply levels.
• Will provide backup to the logistics.
• Maintains the warehouse in a clean and organized manner. In addition, maintains safety standards and follow all regulations while working in the warehouse.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or education/experience required.
• 0-2 years of related experience.
• Prior related experience preferred.
• Prior medical device experience preferred.

• Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, & Outlook).
• Ability to work well under pressure and to meet multiple and occasional competing deadlines while maintaining a cooperative working relationship with other employees and Manager.
• Must be highly organized and able to execute task in a timely manner.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexibility and willingness to work overtime.
• Be punctual and adhere to company policies.
• Works in accordance with current Good Documentation Practices (cGDP).
• Ability to process all outbound shipments with keen accuracy.
