Material Handler - Brazing - 3rd Shift

Your Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the flow of materials to and from their assigned segment area
- Frequently sample weight components and enter the weight into the material master data in SAP
- Have the ability to look up materials for location and quantity in SAP
- Book material from one storage area to a Production Supply Area (PSA) and vice versa
- Follow up on inventory inaccuracies and to help implement improvements in systems and procedures to improve these in the SAP system
- Support the other segments drivers by staging material from the block store areas and by staging packaging material for the segments
- Safely operate material handling equipment and adhere to company policies, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices
- Use hands to maneuver objects, tools, or controls and to climb or balance
- Lift and move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and move up to 40 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 75 pounds based on component specifications
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus
Your Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- SAP
- Digital scales
- CRT
- Equipment operations
- Computer literate
- Tow motor license or certification
- Mechanically inclined
- Inventory and management functions
- PPS shop floor control
- Kanban systems
- Communication ability
- Extremely self-motivated & driven to achieve results
- Continuous improvement approach
- Assertive approach to solving problems
- Ability to prioritize and make decisions
Your Benefits
- Salary Range: $20-$21.50
- Shift Premium of $1.00 per hour
- Hiring Bonus: After successful completion of 90 days of continued employment, you will receive $1,500 and after 12 months $1,000. A total of $2,500 after 12 months of continued employment. (External Hires Only)
