Job Description:

Entry Level Production Control Material Handler; can move production orders physically and in Oracle. Edit data on work orders, move product to proper locations, replenish raw stock and prepare orders for shipment.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Move product to physical location.
• Move product locations within Oracle (sub inventory transfers and move orders)
• Modify or update work order information in Oracle.
• Perform WIP material transactions
• Kanban maintenance
• Issue work orders to production based on KB replenishment
• Get product ready for shipment to outside vendors.
• Replenish raw materials in department queues.
• Inventory control support (cycle counts)
• Maintains the work area through good housekeeping and safety practice in accordance to 5s standards
• Understand the proper procedure for handling Haz-Mat material.
• Use forklift to load and unload product/materials
• Prepare shipments/drums for maquiladoras
• Understand requirements for international shipping
• Deliver or pick up products/materials to/from other sites.
• Understand shipping process for RTV, samples, and other items needed
• Update and maintain daily management board
• Training other associates
• Create and sustain procedures for the area.
• Other duties as required by supervisor or lead

Job Requirements:

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have a High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• 1-2 years manufacturing/ warehouse experience
• Ability to use Oracle, Word, and Excel computer programs.
