Material Handler-Temporary

Temporary material handler is needed on 3rd shift. This position will be until April. Responsible for the material flow of incoming and outgoing product within the CNC department. Performs job safely with little supervision; self-guided.

Responsibilities

• Safe forklift operation
• Unload and load trucks safely
• Move product and dunnage in and out of department
• Load raw forgings onto table-visually inspect each part for quality defects
• Pack finished product into basket using reference guide for packing backets/black pallets
• Scan inventory/work orders into the lines using the barcode system
• Make finished good tags using the barcode system
• Dump and remove chips
• Replenish machine oils and cutting fluids
• General housekeeping; abide by company rules and all safety policies
• Inform shipping department of low dunnage or stock
• Operate as a team player, working and communicating well with others while promoting teamwork
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• All other duties required by supervisor

Qualifications and Skills

• High school diploma or GED
• Forklift experience preferred
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred, but not required
• Knowledge of material tracking systems preferred
• HS Diploma/GED

Benefits/Compensation

• Pay Rate is $16.18 per hour
• Full Time
