Trystar’s team members are our most important asset, we are in search of a Material Coordinator for our Fabrication Department. This position plays a critical role in achieving our strategic objectives. Trystar’s Material Coordinator position is an important part of Trystar’s plan to become the world’s foremost custom solution provider.

The Material Coordinator ensures orderly production and distribution of products by pulling orders from inventory, delivering production materials and supplies where needed, and staging finished product final distribution.

In this role you will get to:

• Operates forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move items within the value stream to ensure others have work queued.
• Understand the job orders and transact them in Epicor.
• Read, comprehend, and execute processes and procedures according to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) which are necessary to properly operate the equipment and manufacture the product.
• Understand, complete, and maintain all required paperwork necessary in the operation including entering paperwork into Epicor. This also includes daily production reports, tally sheets, scrap reports, etc.
• Perform other projects and duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma
• Highly detail oriented
• Experience with inventory management
• Computer and typing skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Suite, and other related software.
• Ability to operate various types of forklifts and pallet jacks
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Must be able to read, write and comprehend plant directives written in English.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

• ERP or MRP experience is preferred.
• Perform simple mathematics to comprehend and interpret process sheets, SOP manuals, tally sheets, etc. and to keep accurate account of materials used during manufacturing process including scrap amounts.
• Frequent lifting, standing, bending & reaching required
• Able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug test
• Must adhere to all the PPE requirements to perform the job safely, this includes but is not limited to, Eye, Hand, Feet, and Hearing protection
