Position Summary

Teledyne Controls LLC is seeking a Master Scheduler to support the Aerospace Electronics business. The Master Scheduler is responsible for the planning, scheduling and monitoring the movement of materials and returns through the production cycle to determine required materials needed to complete a job. The successful candidate will also have responsibility for MRP management, inventory reporting and performing the following duties under minimal supervision, independent decision making in company policy framework.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, other duties may be assigned:

  • Maintains Master Schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders.
  • Prepares daily, weekly and monthly reporting of on time delivery, inventory analysis, bonded orders, forecasts, finished goods, MRP, EOL and customer portals.
  • Reviews and approves sales quotes for components and end items.
  • Plans and schedules workflow for each product line according to previously established manufacturing sequences and lead times.
  • Oversee the SIM Management process and SIM database support.
  • Management of Product Serialization database.
  • Confers with department supervisors to determine status of assigned projects.
  • Revise production schedules when required due to design changes, labor or material shortages, backlogs, collaborating with management, sales, production or engineering.
  • Expedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.
  • Maintains timely control of orders, amendments, shipping notices, and other documents.
  • Works closely with Program Management in preparing timeline of product.
  • Daily availability to include evenings and weekends when necessary to reach goals and deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university in a related field and minimum of ten years of directly related experience and/or training OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of ten years of manufacturing scheduling experience/knowledge required. Aerospace industry experience a plus.
  • Must have a strong understanding of MRP/ERP system. XA experience a plus.
  • To perform this job successfully, the ideal candidate should have a general knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite with advanced experience using Excel to include pivot table, macros, and databases required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $56,049.00 - $126,110.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
