This position is based in our Marion, MA headquarters.
Marketing Specialist Responsibilities:
- Plan content marketing strategies and set goals to ensure success
- Verify all content meets SEO best practices by tracking and implementing SEO trends relevant to company strategy
- Research, write, and edit company content from start to finish
- Create, post, and monitor engaging content for social media platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Twitter
- Follow and implement trending social media strategies that align with the company brand while growing reach, engagement, and conversions
- Develop editorial calendar in Asana and ensure deadlines are met
- Edit, improve, and proofread content from contributors within company
- Receive feedback to generate ideas on increasing follower engagement
- Effectively present information and respond to questions internally and externally
- Revise written content received in someone else’s writing style to resonate with specific audiences
- Facilitate the execution of company proposals by contributing to overall look, polished writing, and visual representation
- Coordinate internally and externally on behalf of the company exhibiting at conferences
- Collaborate with 3rd party vendors on company marketing initiatives
- Understand and implement company strategic brand marketing
- Proficient in Adobe Suite, video editing, graphic design
- Deliverables in mixed media: digital, print, and video collateral
Marketing Specialist Requirements:
- 1-2 years’ experience in marketing
- Can present a portfolio of previous work
- Understanding of SEO
- Expertise in social media platforms
- Project management skills
- High attention to detail
- Self starter and finisher
- Comfort with deadlines both planned and unplanned
- Excellent communication, written and verbal skills in English
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
