LSI seeks a full-time Marketing Project Manager for the Immigrant & Refugee Community Services program in Des Moines.
DUTIES
The Marketing Project Manager position is responsible for initiating, developing, and executing internal and external marketing and communications projects for the Immigrant & Refugee Community Services department. The Project Manager will focus on project management and marketing content development and will lead the Immigrant & Refugee Community Services leadership team in the creation and delivery of annual marketing plans for each of the department's sub units. The Project Manager will serve as a coordinator of media relations for Immigrant & Refugee Community Services; work collaboratively with the community engagement and advocacy teams; and support philanthropy/fundraising through integrated marketing initiatives and special event support. The Project Manager will contribute to the success of LSI by building positive professional relationships with internal and external networks.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required: Bachelor's degree in liberal arts, marketing, communications or a related field with a minimum of two years work-related experience and work samples that demonstrate professional verbal and written skills. The Marketing Project Manager must be a creative communicator who can balance big ideas with superior attention to detail. Successful candidates will have a proven ability to multitask, excellent organizational and time-management skills, a positive and collaborative approach and a passion for networking and communicating with others.
Preferred: Bachelor's degree in liberal arts, communication, marketing or a related field with three or more years of related work experience and work samples that demonstrate professional verbal and written skills. Graphic design skills are a major plus. Linguistic skills and/or previous experience to support the needs of the clients are desired but not required.
This position requires a valid driver's license, auto insurance, a good driving record and the ability to pass an extensive background check including checks of the Dependent Adult and Child Abuse registries, Sex Offender registry and a criminal history check.
