Seeking a multi-skilled, creative, and hands-on individual who is ready to transform category insights into impactful and visually striking stories. The Content Creator & Planning Associate will be responsible for:
This role will partner closely with internal and external partners to project manage, plan and execute retailer visits, asset management, project planning, and content creation. This includes but is not limited to; creating communication and checkpoints to achieve The project plan objectives, partnering cross functionally with The Vault team, sales, category and external vendors to ensure responsibilities and timeline are clearly communicated and the appropriate parties are held accountable and creating/updating PPT presentations to bring modules to life.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a proven ability to drive project planning outcomes with category and sales partners that deliver enhanced business results. The ideal candidate will have significant experience working with large scale projects with extensive experience in PPT and Adobe. They will have strong experience in project management, cross functional partnership, stakeholder engagement and vendor accountability.
From a leadership perspective it is imperative that the candidate can work cross functionally across levels of management within retailers organizations, solving for complex business issues and mobilizing change. Experience in influence with integrity is essential.
Content Creation
- Create Category slide content (PowerPoints) for projects as requested by Content Managers. Must be able to deliver concept drafts and story boards during content development phase in sprint-intervals. Must be able to manage multiple PowerPoint projects against fast turnaround timelines
- Create general slide content (PowerPoints) for any ad hoc visits to our Collaboration Center, such as Tours and Board Meetings. Content Managers to advise on when extra project work is needed
Content Cleanup, Refinement, and Translation
- Convert Theater sized PowerPoint slides to standard 16x9 slides as a “backup plan” prior to every Retailer visit so that we have alternate slides ready to present in other rooms if Theater fails during a visit. Also be ready to convert backup content to PDFs and send out in recap email to attendees post visit
- For Custom PowerPoint Content provided by our Category partners, help to refine slides. Examples include checking image quality of slides for Theater and swapping images as needed, adding in animations to help presenter facilitation, and moving content on page to help facilitate consistent content slide structure, texts, and color schemes
- During rehearsal meetings when Speakers are practicing their slides, help to check confidence monitor effectiveness (quantity of words) to enable high quality presentation
Content File Consistency
- Cascade changes to all Master content files. EX. If wording is changed in a standard Agenda slide, ensure Master file Agenda is receives this update
Manage First Review of Content Quality in Theater
- When Content Managers have a content draft from Agency that is ready to be viewed in the Theater, attend review meeting with Content Manager and Tech Point. Be the first line of defense in theater quality by taking note of what needs to be corrected and work with Agency to have changes made. Keep content manager in loop. Be prepared to help identify errors such as:
When the color of the Picture in Picture slides does not match the color of the overall Theater color
Video images not layered in correct order causing movement in videos to look off
Edges of slides images not faded to help blend into the overall Theater
- Be prepared to take the "corrections needed" list and work with the Agency to fix list in a timely manager before content is fully rendered/finalized for production. Help reduce extra editing fees.
Image Libraries Management
- Manage libraries that we subscribe to. Act as point to provide images from subscriptions to Content Managers as requested
- Collect and update photo databases that are created from our Agencies. Manage any requests from Content Managers for new images or image edits by working with Agency to attain photo needs
- Be prepared to suggest and provide images to internal Content Managers as needed
Account Team Facing
- Support Vault visits including stakeholder engagement, pre-visit preparation, experience planning, and post visit debrief
- Execute and host Vault visit rehearsals and retailer visits
- Participate in post visit debriefs
Vault Preparation & Education
- Manage Vault Summits, including but not limited to content and objective management, run of show creation and execution, communication, and post summit assessment
- Manage yearly content and module selection and creation planning workshop including but not limited to event management, content and objective management, run of show creation and execution, and pre/post workshop communication
- Manage Q1 Vault Education Session, including but not limited to content and objective management, run of show creation and execution, communication, and post summit assessment
- Assess Q1 Vault Education Session for ongoing improvements through surveys
- Implement updates to Q1 Vault Education Session based on survey assessment
- Lead new hire onboarding and training for Vault team members
SOPs, Guidebook, & Asset Management
- Maintain SharePoint and SharePoint access
- Maintain library of one pagers and external communication assets including The Vault Summary for AB Sales/Category explanation
- Maintain headshots and bios of Vault team, presenters, and SMEs
- Manage ongoing SOPs
- Communicate dress code policies to new hires
- Manage flow of information and content storage
- Establish new efficiencies and ways of working
- Maintain lessons learned and contigency plans
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Category Management, Marketing, Graphic Design; managing cross functional teams (both internal and external), and influencing through integrity
- skill in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- skill in Adobe Creative Suite
- skill with project management software (SharePoint, Monday.com, Asana, or other workflow applications)
- experience in presenting and developing project plans to key stakeholders
