GTY is on a mission to find a creative and organized team player to join our marketing function as Marketing Programs Manager. This is your opportunity to become a marketing expert in Budget and Grants, executing marketing programs for every stage of the funnel, and owning our portfolio of online and in-person field and event activities.
In this role, you’ll activate the total addressable market by executing programs designed for every stage of the funnel. We’ve learned that it requires a continuous mix of programs to be successful. Whether it be brand, ABM, conversion, or nurture programs - you’ll build the plan and manage the execution across marketing functions. You’ll leverage data to deliver insights on how to optimize your approach in targeting the right people at the right time and moving them quickly through the funnel.

The Challenge
What You’ll Do:
- Crush Your Goals: Working closely with Sales and Product Marketing to discover and understand personas, their use case, how to capture their interest, why they purchase, and the right decision makers, you’ll own the strategy and plan for outreach with the ultimate goal of building a qualified pipeline that converts to closed business.
- Direct the Database: Own the health and hygiene of your marketable database, ensuring TAM representation and structure to maximize audience engagement and reach.
- Measure, measure, measure: Continually tool for ways to understand your impact on the business.
- Data-based Decision-Maker: Leverage both program and funnel metrics to drive optimizations across your programs through data-based decision making.
- Product Marketing Partner: Work with Product Marketing to connect product messaging to segment priorities.
- Sales Confidante: Build a strong relationship with Sales to ensure alignment on program priorities and gain buy in for programs.
- Network: Look for and build relationships with third parties that already have a captive audience with your prospect base.
- Learn, Share, Apply: Leverage research to determine optimal messaging and approach.
- Spread the Word: Build and execute multi-channel programs designed to continually engage and ignite interest with the total addressable market for your segment.
- Tunnel Vision: Determine optimal mix of programs (nurture, ABM, conversion and brand) to guide prospects through the funnel.
- Event Executor: Plan and execute events such as tradeshows, speaking engagements, roundtables, and any other new ideas you bring to the table!
- Create: Create content to support programs including emails and sales cadences or outsource when necessary.
- Optimize: Execute programs through marketing functions seeking functional expertise to optimize programs.
- Technical Mastermind: Understand the value of the marketing tech stack in programs to deliver automation and insights on intent (specifically Pardot).
- By the Book: Support marketing budget including forecasting and ensuring good standing with finance and vendors.
- Communicate Value: Leverage client success stories to communicate value to prospects.
- Keep Your Ducks in a Row: Prioritize the highest impact initiatives and work on multiple programs concurrently.
Who You Are: Skills:
- You’ve successfully designed and executed multi-channel marketing campaigns in a previous role
- You’re comfortable using marketing automation software (we use Pardot) and Salesforce as well as other martech tools including Wordpress
- You’ve had ownership over and been responsible for attaining MQL and pipeline targets in a previous role
- You’re independent by nature and execute on your ideas and able to articulate them effectively to obtain buy-in from internal stakeholders
- You're able to project manage marketing programs efficiently and effectively and delegate across departments when needed
- You're up for a challenge and the idea of marketing to new segments excites you
- You don’t wait for directions to be given and act when you see opportunity
- You’re like a sponge and ready to take advantage and learn all that you can as we scale up and take on new responsibilities or tasks
- You’re always re-examining the process and looking to improve it. You don’t buy the “we’ve always done it this way” mantra
- A fast paced environment excites you, and you can manage multiple priorities successfully
- 3-5 years experience in B2B marketing role, SaaS experience is advantageous
- Experience designing and executing programs to public sector prospects is a strong asset
- Degree or diploma in marketing, a related discipline, or relevant work experience
