Polaris MEP seeks a Marketing Coordinator to work collaboratively with the Marketing Manager and Project team implement, organize and run Polaris MEP’s communications.

Polaris MEP, a business unit of URI Research Foundation and an affiliate of the Hollings MEP National Network affiliate, guides Rhode Island manufacturers to sustainable growth, innovative technology strategies and cost-efficient operations.

Polaris MEP serves small to medium sized manufacturers (SMMs) by making connections and introductions to the appropriate resources and programs available to assist in their growth. We use multi-channel marketing to communicate with SMMs about programs and activities.

Polaris MEP believes in a team approach and, as such, each team member participates in development and strategic growth of the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deploy marketing and communications materials and content for the website, social media platforms, email campaigns, newsletters, printed materials, programs, materials to support grant applications and deliverables, and events.
• Identify and propose internal/external ideas and initiatives to help promote general awareness of company brand.
• Collaborate with team in the creation of new services, projects, and events; develop strategy to communicate with the identified audience, generating responses and leads.
• Assist with strategizing, developing and executing marketing communications plans.
• Develop and coordinate event logistics to promote the organization to increase lead generation.
• Research, pre-qualify and follow up on leads as deemed appropriate.
• Build collaborative relationships with staff, partners and vendors.
• Support all marketing strategies.

This position reports to the Marketing Manager.

Desired Education and Experience:

• A Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or equivalent experience
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
• Copywriting experience required
• Attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft productivity tools, Adobe Suite products, Salesforce, Pardot, and Word Press recommended.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $57,000.00 per year
