Job purpose
Impact the success and growth of the Credit Union through multiple marketing channels, community presence, member relationship development, and effective internal relationships.
Duties and responsibilities
- Assist with development and implementation of various Credit Union marketing initiatives designed to acquire new Members, strengthen relationships with existing membership, expand knowledge of MBCU products/services and increase the outreach to potential members.
- Coordinate and collaborate with management and external marketing firms.
- Recommend, track, and manage the rotation of content at all touchpoints in accordance with our brand standards.
- Become proficient in usage and maintenance of our automated email system.
- Conduct market research and analyze consumer behavior trends.
- Identify opportunities for potential member outreach.
- Analyze member survey trends to identify communication needs and channels.
- Maintain, develop, and implement digital marketing methodologies to maximize conversion rates
- Coordinate the design of all marketing content in collaboration with internal stakeholders, consultants, and digital media firms.
- Maintain a strong online company voice through social media.
- Monitor, manage and master Google Analytics/SEO (Search Engine Optimization).
- Stay up to date with digital marketing methods.
- Represent the Credit Union at SEGs (Select Employer Groups) community functions, attending functions, and networking to raise awareness and promote the Credit Union's image as a community partner.
- Develop, implement, and maintain new member onboarding process at dedicated SEG groups; Provide analysis of member activity, providing reporting and suggestions for creative messaging to engage members in utilizing more Credit Union products and services.
- Coordinates activities with Vice President of Marketing & Member Development to ensure a consistent message in accordance with Mass Bay Credit Union brand.
- Assist with monitoring and creation of social media initiatives to increase awareness of the Credit Union brand and increase current and new member engagement. Monitor and manage all Credit Union social media outlets for reputational risk and member service. Stays abreast of the changing environment within social media, reporting trend changes in social media channels and provide suggestions for social media marketing strategies.
- Stays abreast of new and emerging community events that match organizational goals.
- Flexibility to deal with unexpected events; Required to attend meetings and events that may occur outside of regularly scheduled work hours.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of marketing supplies and collateral materials in branch lobbies; Determine when to reorder and place orders to replenish inventories.
- Maintain knowledge and tracking of regulatory compliance in marketing, advertising, products and services, and field of membership requirements.
- Seek educational opportunities to remain well-versed in industry trends.
- Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge/Skills/Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (Marketing, Communications, or related field) or 3 years of equivalent work experience.
- Strong knowledge of various marketing and analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, and website content management systems.
- Strong prioritization, organization, and project management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Access), and CMS software.
- Working knowledge of HTML or web development.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Computer skills, including word processing, database management, spreadsheets.
- Proficient in social media and email marketing.
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
- Interpersonal skills necessary to deal courteously and effectively with a diverse group of members, vendors, community, and co-workers.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to exercise judgment, initiative, and tact in dealing with the community, members, management, and staff.
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to travel within MBCU's service area.
