Position Summary:

Quechua Benefit is seeking a Marketing & Communications Manager with a positive self-empowered attitude who will play a critical role in ensuring the organization achieves its plans for growth in alignment with its mission, vision and values. The Marketing & Communications Manager will be responsible for the management of Quechua Benefit's communication strategy, content creation, and support to the Director of development's growth efforts.

Ideally, the candidate will be comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a small, close-knit team, and shine as a self-starter. The successful candidate must be able to communicate effectively with a diverse range of board members and donors.

Responsibilities:

Marketing and Social Media Management

• Collaborate with the Communication Director to create and execute marketing and communications strategies to promote Quechua Benefit's resources, research, publications, public awareness and fundraising efforts.
• Edit content articles for Quechua Benefit's website, email marketing and newsletter, Podcast.
• Plan, promote and execute annual fundraising events.
• Manage all aspects of Quechua Benefit's social media strategy and content creation - website, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Flickr to drive donor engagement.
• Increase awareness for key initiatives and events.
• Monitor, report and present on engagement analytics across platforms to optimize content, messaging and distributions.
• Monitor, report and present on engagement and fundraising analytics.
• Support Development Director fundraising efforts
• Operate Quechua benefit's product-based farm store

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in communications and marketing, preferably within a nonprofit organization
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and proofreading skills
• Proven results in implementing marketing and social media strategic planning and analysis to engage a diverse audience.
• Comfortable working in WordPress
• Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously while managing deadlines.
• Specialized experience, a plus – for example, working in an international nonprofit and possibly Spanish speaker.
• Passion for supporting projects and values shared by Quechua Benefit

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

• Microsoft Office: 1 year (Preferred)
• Administrative experience: 1 year (Preferred)
