Role
Marketing Communications Associate
Part-Time: 25-35 hours per week

Goals of the position

• Accurately communicate the messaging and brand of Foster to our constituents across multiple platforms (digital and in-store)
• Support cafe, roastery, and bakery department in marketing communications efforts

Responsibilities

• Develop copy and messaging for various marketing platforms
• Oversee consistent communication to various customers groups via internal marketing platforms (ex: loyalty, wholesale, etc)
• Oversee publishing schedule for social media
• Oversee publishing schedule for content
• Coordinate with marketing vendors (ex: Matteson photography)
• Coordinate with store managers and department heads
• Some graphic design

Marketing Communication Platforms Include

(but not limited to)

• Social media
• IG, FB, T, P

• Square (Loyalty program and marketing subscribers)
• Square Online Mobile Ordering (Wix)
• In-store (menus, signage, etc)
• Online store (Shopify)
• Wholesale platform
• Retail platform
• Chatbot

• Website (main parent account)
• Company Listings
• Google Biz, Yelp

• Slack (Staff - Internal / Departmental Channels)

What We’re Looking For

• Must be an excellent writer / communicator
• Organized and deadline driven individual
• Adept at social media (Facebook and Instagram a must)
• Creative and abstract thinker (can consistently answer the “why”)
• 2+ years of experience in marketing or communications field
• 1+ year of experience in social media marketing
• Adobe Creative Suite skills is a plus
• Graphic design skills are a HUGE plus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
