Wellmark is looking for a Marketing Campaign Manager to join their team to focus on our sales distribution channel.

As a Marketing Campaign Manager, you will manage end-to-end execution of marketing campaigns and initiatives to increase account and membership growth and retention across Wellmark’s lines of business. The primary focus will be on Wellmark’s sales distribution channel. You will provide strategic input into development of marketing campaigns and programs, and then manage execution of multiple integrated projects to achieve planned goals, while meeting timelines and budgets.

Ideal candidates will have experience in sales distribution marketing or consumer marketing, preferably within the health care space. You have a demonstrated history of successful project management experience as it relates to the execution of marketing campaigns. You have the ability to manage complex campaign calendars and deliverables, while working collaboratively with cross-functional partners across the enterprise. If this sounds like you, apply today!


Qualifications


Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field, or direct and applicable work experience.
  • Minimum of 4+ years of experience in consumer marketing, digital marketing, or related field, including previous work developing and executing measurable marketing programs and initiatives.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of marketing and promotion strategies, with an emphasis on product and service positioning, concept development and tactical execution.
  • Data-driven mindset and strong analytical skills to plan and measure marketing performance.
  • A self-starter and someone who thrives in a high-energy, fast-paced, ever-changing, collaborative environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Must articulate information accurately to internal and external stakeholders, including leadership, as well as represent Wellmark’s brand with professionalism. Demonstrates sound judgment, critical thinking, and poise in all situations.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload.
  • Advanced ability to cultivate peer and key stakeholder relationships in order to influence others and drive results. Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally and upward to senior leadership to manage and resolve business issues and challenges.
  • Proficiency with MS Office – e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint including process mapping and project management tracking.

Preferred:

  • Health insurance experience and/or Medicare programs
  • Experience working with third-party sales channels as a growth driver.
  • Experience in digital marketing programs and related tools/software.

Additional Information


a. Partner with Marketing planning and creative teams to plan marketing campaigns, and bring them to life across channels and programs. Evaluate marketing plans for schedule, scope, budgets and deliverables.

b. Execute marketing strategies for all assigned initiatives, working to meet defined goals and objectives. This includes initiating development of marketing creative and seeing it through completion, being a point of reference for any tactical deliverables, and reviewing materials for consistency and quality. Marketing projects could include but are not limited to emails, web, digital, direct mail, broker/client/member communications, special events, presentation materials, and marketing collateral.

c. Manage vendor relationships for outsourced project components, including defining scope, managing deliverables, and facilitating information/learnings/etc., back to internal stakeholders. Work with vendors for optimal pricing and delivery.

d. Coordinate and communicate progress against plan, and project issues and changes to the campaign team. Use data to monitor campaign performance and drive optimizations based on analytical insights.

e. Represent Marketing on cross-functional teams to execute marketing plans, ensuring initiatives are aligned appropriately and deliver on defined goals and objectives.

f. Demonstrate understanding of Wellmark’s products and services and apply knowledge to marketing execution.

g. Follow documented Marketing workflow, production cycles and approval processes. Maintain detailed project and tracking documentation.

h. Support the development and management of marketing campaign budget(s).

i. Monitor marketing metrics to track success of marketing efforts. Work with team at close of campaigns to develop comprehensive reports on marketing performance.

j. Other duties as assigned.
