Resource Innovations is seeking a Market Intelligence Analyst to join our team. The Market Intelligence Analyst will support a large-scale Market Transformation (MT) program to benefit California ratepayers. There is a strong preference for California residents, but remote candidates will be considered. As the Market Intelligence Analyst, you will work in a dynamic environment to generate market information to assist in the design and implementation of large-scale energy efficiency initiatives. You will be responsible for identifying and analyzing data to address key questions that arise and then create reports of the findings.

The Market Intelligence Analyst will work closely with program staff and other analysts both internally and with external partners to ensure deliverables are met with the highest standards of creativity and quality. In this role, you will work in a fast-paced environment applying your excellent time prioritization and management skills to maneuver quickly among data challenges, program and partner needs, research, analysis, and reporting. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze market data and write reports to answer questions generated by the program team to support program design and implementation
• Ensure data analytics and results that report on programs are clear, accurate and easily understandable by non-technical audiences
• Identify and define data quality improvements that could improve the results of your analysis
• Have a well-honed ability to interact with the internal team and our partners, understand their requirements, and design the research and reports accordingly.

• Ability to assess software development and maintenance tasks.
• Create and maintain process documentation on data/analysis approaches
• Other duties, as assigned.

Requirements

• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Economics, Computer Science, Engineering or related field and 5+ years research with data/analysis-related experience
• Demonstrated ability to communicate in written and verbal form the results of analysis in a manner that is accessible to a wide audience
• Experience finding appropriate data sources and crafting pertinent results to address given needs
• Advanced Microsoft Office, Excel, and Power BI skills and experience
• Experience with platforms such as Salesforce and Azure

• Technical experience with energy efficiency, or related technologies preferred
• High degree of inter-cultural sensitivity and inclusiveness.

Resource Innovations offers competitive salaries based on candidate's qualifications. Resource Innovations also offers three weeks paid vacation per year, paid holidays, a 401(k) plan with employee matching funds, a discretionary bonus and an overall comprehensive benefits package.

The compensation range for this exempt position is $72,000 - $97,000 per year. The stated range is based on a good faith estimate for the duties, responsibilities, skills and experience required for the position. Starting pay will be dependent on experience and internal equity. Compensation may exceed this range for well-qualified candidates with industry experience.
