Your impact:
Hearst Digital Media is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented individual to develop, grow, and maintain revenue from our data ad products.
In this role, the Manager, Solutions Engineer will be responsible for preparing materials for presentations and client deliverables. In addition, the role will require technical proficiency with systems like a DMP and Google Ad Manager, as the ideal candidate will serve as a source of expertise within the organization, for internal questions pertaining to Hearst’s data offering and products.
To be successful, the Manager, Solutions Engineer must have a desire to leverage their technical, marketing, and sales skills to develop solutions that aid in building more strategic data partnerships and drive sales fueled by Hearst’s unique data offering and extensive capabilities as a premium publisher.
What you’ll do:
- Understand the customer need and establish Hearst’s product and data capabilities as the best solution to solve the customer's challenges
- Participate in all appropriate product, sales, procedural training, and certifications to acquire and maintain the knowledge necessary to be effective in the position
- Aid in media strategy development process and contribute to customer deliverables
- Derive and articulate insights that will drive media recommendations
- Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and provide sales support
- Aid in research and development of new data and ad products/technologies
Who you are:
- 3+ years of digital experience with a focus on data or digital advertising - data driven thinking, excellent quantitative skills
- Previous sales or marketing experience preferred
- Knowledge of related applications, including data management platforms (DMPs), ad servers and platforms (Google Ad Manager, Facebook, etc.) and web technology
- Solid oral, written, presentation, analytical, collaboration and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team to solve technical challenges
- Experience with Google Analytics, Google BigQuery and Tableau is a plus
- Self-starter with the ability to multi-task and with a proven ability to handle multiple deliverables with tight deadlines
