*Who you are:*
CIEE, the first and largest organization of its kind, seeks an experienced and entrepreneurial sales professional to actively manage the direct sales team for the Global Navigator High School Abroad (HSA) and Gap Year Abroad programs. The manager will also work with the newly formed First Year Abroad programs to ensure that nascent programs can meet enrollment goals by leveraging contacts in schools and developing expanded relationships with college counseling offices.
The manager will directly supervise a small team of enrollment coordinators and will be expected to also contribute to application-generating activities (proactive calls, designing/sending a communication to leads and old applications). With success, the team will grow to be a strong contributor to the department.
**
*What you’ll do:*
- Manage team to meet or exceed enrollment goals for all program lines
- Design the annual sales plan for the product line, with the help of the Exec. Director of Sales, including outreach strategies, communication needs for programmed and ad-hoc communication, data recording procedures, etc.
- Monitor and report on sales progress using data-informed language with opportunities and risks clearly stated with plans attached to each
- Collaborate with marketing to ensure promotion plan is clear for annual needs for web, digital, organic, and physical materials
- Lead cross-team workshops to ensure field staff have the product knowledge to promote programs inside of schools
- Collaborate with Exec Director of Sales to use creative incentives to motivate field staff to actively promote HS/GAP programming
**
*What you’ll bring:*
- Bachelor's degree or international equivalent required
- Experience B2C selling in medium to long-term decision-timeframe products
- Experience managing a small team of individual performers, using coaching techniques, management meetings, and goal setting
- Ability to travel domestically/internationally up to 15% of the time
- Previous experience working in international student services or admissions (Preferred)
- Experience with CRM software - Salesforce or similar (Preferred)
- Study abroad experiences strongly preferred; interest in other nationalities and cultures (Preferred)
