As Sales Commissions Manager you will work under the direction of the Director, Commercial Operations - Pain Treatment & Restorative Therapies in the administration and analysis of the incentive compensation plans for the business. This job is responsible for leading a team of three Sales Analysts who are responsible for the accurate and timely calculation of Sales Rep and Distributor commissions for all Bioventus business units.
This job partners closely with Sales, Commercial Operations, Finance, and IT to gather business requirements, understand business rules, and design solutions for efficiently and accurately calculating commission expense using Iconixx.
What you will be doing
- Provide leadership for the day-to-day operations to ensure the accurate and timely preparation, recording and payment of more than $70 million of Sales Rep and Distributor commission payments, bonuses and special programs annually.
- Lead implementations of sales compensation programs into Iconixx, which includes managing Iconixx resources and user acceptance testing.
- Ensure Sales Rep and Distributor Master Data is maintained accurately and timely in SAP and Iconixx, as applicable.
- Establish SLAs and standard operating procedures for the Territory Maintenance and Sales Bonuses email inboxes to ensure high levels of Customer Service with internal and external customers.
- Initiate projects to drive continuous process improvement for more effective and efficient processing of sales compensation plans.
- Establish standards for maintenance of systems and daily operational activities, including process documentation, audit processes and procedures and overpayment/underpayment processes.
- Lead focused quality efforts to ensure accurate processing of all payments.
- Review and release Indirect Sales on a weekly basis.
- Responsible for performance management and career development of direct reports.
- Contribute to the development, communication, and implementation of Bioventus Incentive Pay programs.
Education and Experience (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
- B.S. or B.A. in Accounting, Business, Finance or similar
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience.
- Proficient in the use of the MS Office package (Excel – including Pivot tables and vLookups, Word, Outlook)
- SAP and other financial reporting applications, including Iconixx, are highly preferred
- Ability to organize time, energy, and resources effectively to achieve goals (i.e., organizational skills)
- Ability to adapt to rapid change as the business develops, capable of working under pressure and manage time effectively.
