Manager, DTC & Marketplaces
Summary: The Manager, DTC & Marketplaces is responsible for sales & marketing on eCommerce Marketplaces and Shopify for Suja Life Brands including Suja Juice and Vive Organic. This role will oversee marketing and sales activities for Direct-to-Consumer platforms and Marketplace Customers (Amazon Seller Central, Instacart, Walmart Marketplace, Target Plus, and others). This role partners with existing digital marketing resources to drive sales growth, improve customer acquisition, execute retention growth strategies, and increase average order value. This should be achieved by implementing data-driven strategies and improvements in customer experience. This role will lead critical partnerships with brand, innovation, digital and email marketing teams to elevate our overarching strategy for the entire DTC and Marketplaces eCommerce business. This role is both strategic and tactical in nature.
The position will report to the Director of Omnichannel Marketing.
Essential Responsibilities:
- This role will lead sales and marketing activities for Suja Life Brands (Suja Juice and Vive Organic) on DTC and eCommerce Marketplace platforms
- Lead critical partnerships with brand, innovation, and marketing teams to elevate our overarching strategy for the entire DTC & Marketplaces eCommerce business
- Set up, manage, and execute all products and functions related to Shopify Plus Storefront, Amazon, Instacart, Walmart Marketplace, and Target Plus
- Work collaboratively to identify and implement user experiences, cart functionality, email flows, and new marketing automation for product launches, promotions, events, or key retail timeframes
- Thought partner with marketing leadership to redesign website properties considering new DTC eCommerce structure, launch & evolution to support long-term growth strategy
- Collaborate with larger marketing team to inform content development by leveraging search data, conversion data, and A/B testing to optimize product detail page content on marketplaces and enhance user experience on DTC platforms
- Leverage Shopify data and Amazon Seller Central insights to grow sales, optimize online product assortment, inform pricing content, and drive new product innovation
- Lead the design, integration and launch of new user experiences across digital environments, including integration of third-party software or programs (i.e., Integrations, Shopify Apps, etc.)
- Lead strategies to grow subscription across Direct-to-Consumer platforms while reducing churn and improving incentives to scale program retention and meet business objectives
- Partner with brand marketing and digital teams to execute promotional email messages, provide insights that optimize segmentation, and grow DTC and Omnichannel revenue
- Partner with agency resources to ensure focused media strategy, sku prioritization and product availability
- Use of all necessary tools, software plug-ins and outside platforms (e.g. Bazaarvoice, Recharge, ReBuy, Codisto Klaviyo, and others) to increase sales of our Shopify store and priority growth initiatives
- Partner with supply chain and operations teams to inform forecast planning and inventory management at 3PLs to improve availability and reduce expiring inventory
- Lead P&L ownerships, annual revenue planning, demand planning and eCommerce reporting dashboards
- Responsible for end-of-month reporting to ensure transaction and journal entry accuracy, and constantly providing improvements based on ROI
