HOURS/DAYS SCHEDULE: Full Time Non-Exempt 86.67 hours per pay period Monday-Friday

POSITION SUMMARY

Under the direction of the VP of Marketing & Communications, and working as part of the Marketing & Communications Department, this position provides support for creative services including graphic design, video and photography for all media channels. This position requires the ability to design cohesive brand-compliant materials for marketing campaigns, to communicate the YMCA brand and voice in all materials and communicate and work with individuals of diverse backgrounds and management levels. The incumbent will be expected to maintain accuracy in data input, meet scheduled deadlines, take and integrate creative direction, and follow policies, procedures and guidelines.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Under the direction of the VP of Marketing & Communications, work on concept, design and production of marketing materials as assigned, including but not limited to: digital and social media ads, graphics and videos; video testimonials; post cards, posters, brochures banners, flyers; t-shirts; marketing automation and e-blast messages.
• Prioritize workload to achieve business goals for multiple areas of focus and revenue streams.
• Maintain a consistent, professional brand-compliant image for the YMCA through all marketing materials.
• Serve as a brand champion and provide guidance on brand standards to staff; coordinate interdepartmentally to oversee physical and digital brand look/feel.
• Support and understand marketing membership, fundraising, programs, sports teams and other lines of service as assigned.
• Execute digital, print and social media campaigns to generate leads and donations, and other internal and external publications/distributions.
• Coordinate with vendors to meet deadlines of finished product.
• All other duties as assigned by supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors degree in graphic design or similar field from an accredited college or university and/or 2 years of graphic design experience.
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Premiere Rush (or similar), Adobe Photoshop; digital photography, videography, & editing; Microsoft Office products. Familiarity with HTML and Drupal; Social Studio; Sharepoint; and Wrike project management, a plus.

• Ability to conduct business in a professional manner including verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to take direction.
