Overview:
The Norman Regional Centers of Excellence are a team of dedicated individuals from all disciplines, who operate across departments within the health system to focus on providing leadership and direction to select service lines. We do this by establishing and promoting best practices; engaging in research and development; providing support and education; acting as quality improvement resources for areas considered critical to the success of the overall organization and by optimizing the utilization of resources while contributing in a positive manner to the overall financial wellbeing of the organization. We validate our excellence through Joint Commission Certifications and Accreditations from other organizations such as the American College of Cardiology, The American College of Surgeons etc. As part of the Norman Regional Health System Medical Neighborhood we strive to lead, challenge and innovate so that excellence can thrive. The health system's system TJC accreditation is managed through the Centers of Excellence department as well.

LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION
The Centers of Excellence provide care to patients with a variety of medical conditions in a manner which is consistent with state of the art care available in the United States. Each program is certified and nationally recognized.

Responsibilities:
- Provides leadership for the organization's accreditation through The Joint Commission (TJC) with a focus on continuous survey readiness.
- Coordinates hospital accreditation compliance strategies with The Joint Commission standards and other health care accrediting and licensing standards/regulations.
- Bachelor's of Nursing degree required. Masters degree preferred.
- 3 to 5 years experience in performance improvement and/or leadership position to include data collection, interpretation and report presentation.
(Above requirements can be met by equivalent combination of education and experience).
