The position is responsible for all fiscal and day-to-day operations of the Breast Center including MRI, osteoporosis testing, and the Cancer Risk Assessment and Prevention.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the Job

• The Breast Center Manager is responsible for the quality and quantity of work performed; and supervises the clinical area, business activities, medical records, and transcription, and staff within the Breast Center to ensure optimum patient care by providing high quality, cost effective services. This position reports to the Dir, Imaging Services and collaborates with the Medical Director on all operational and clinical activities.

• Attracts, interviews, hires, trains, develops and retains effective staff, to maintain consistently efficient, high quality patient care and service to physicians according to Memorial Values.

• Ensures compliance with all regulatory and accreditation agencies i.e. federal, state, MQSA, ACR, and Joint Commission.

• On a daily basis, the Breast Center Manager interacts with, and solves problems for numbers of referring physicians representing multiple specialties and their patients.

• Routinely participates in breast treatment planning weekly meetings. Assists with marketing efforts and community breast care outreach programs.

• The Breast Center Manager assists in the development of business plan to meet Saddleback Medical Center’s strategic plan and is responsible for the development, assessment, and achievement of the annual budget to meet strategic goals for the breast center.

• Accountable for customer service standards including but not limited to patient/physician satisfaction and staff satisfaction.

• If licensed to provide clinical services, the director will maintain clinical licensure and perform clinical/imaging tasks as necessary to assist with patient care needs and to maintain licensure.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements Qualifications/Work Experience:

• Previous breast imaging experience in an administrative position or equivalent – min 3 years Education/Licensure/Certification:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher preferred • Breast imaging certification and licensure, preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $117,000.00 - $174,000.00 per year
