The Customer Engagement Media Strategy & Activation team delivers powerful customer experiences across marketing touchpoints by using data and tools to bring marketing to life. We lead consumer analytics, business intelligence, and audience strategy for 1:1 marketing campaigns to improve targeting, messaging, and channel strategies using data-driven insights.

Ensure marketing campaigns are infused with insights and data-driven audience signals across the customer journey. Lead a team that provides data-driven audience strategies and audience insights that take into account a variety of data sources and platforms. Own the development of audience strategies, including standardizing deliverables, prioritizing and following audience strategy timelines, developing processes, and establishing ongoing audience-centric education. Work with analytical and marketing teams to ensure we are constantly making and maturing data-driven decisions.

You will report to the Sr. Manager, Audiences & Analytics.

Responsibilities:

  • You will drive & promote audience strategy for all Disney Parks Experiences & Products (DPEP) business units by building bridges across DPEP to promote audience-centric thinking and knowledge sharing in the marketing organization using data-driven concepts

  • Work with commercial partners and leadership to understand business objectives and develop audience activation strategies across the customer journey

  • Provide insights-based thought leadership and recommendations to team and partners

  • Lead advancements with technology and Center of Excellence partners as well as vendors surrounding audience data expansion focusing on activation, optimizing results, and a measured approach to impact

  • Ensure the equity of our diverse consumers through an activation lens

  • Lead a strategic team, including organizing work and progress, setting priorities and expectations, and mentoring their professional development

  • Develop streamlined, informational presentations, showcasing audience strategies, profiles, insights, and activation results

  • You will engage and contribute to Diversity and Inclusion plans

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in digital media and CRM planning, audience and targeting strategy, and consumer insights

  • 2+ years of experience leading through influence, resource planning, managing a performant team, mentoring, and developing strategic leaders

  • Experience using sophisticated analytics for audience targeting to optimize channel and journey phase performance with measured results

  • Use 1st, 2nd, and 3rd party audience data to get results in the programmatic and direct marketing spaces

  • Experience with digital, social, search, or CRM marketing concepts/strategies

  • Influence organizational adoption of data-driven audience and targeting strategies

  • Write effective story-telling deliverables for different leadership levels

  • Use audience insights to influence the design of end-to-end customer activation journeys

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience reaching diverse multicultural audiences insights and activation strategies

  • Experience with Audience Insights platforms such as Google Insights Finder and Resonate to analyze audiences and provide valuable and applicable strategic recommendations using findings

  • Experience with digital Data Management Platforms (DMP) such as BlueKai or Adobe Audience Manager

Preferred Education:

  • Master’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Data Analytics, or other related fields, or equivalent work experience
