About ECU Health Duplin Hospital
ECU Health Duplin Hospital is an 81-bed facility located in Kenansville, North Carolina. The 15-bed emergency department serves approximately 25,000 patients per year. In addition to providing general medical and surgical services, ECU Health Duplin Hospital offers chemotherapy and other cancer infusion interventions and has earned national designation as a Primary Stroke Center.
Position Summary
The Mammographic Technologist IV is a member of the mammography staff of Radiology Services. The technologist must be proficient in performing screening and diagnostic mammography, needle localizations, and stereotactic mammography as applicable. The mammographic technologist must maintain a high standard of ethics while providing quality patient care. Through proper credentialing, the technologist must be ARRT (M) registered with current certification.
Minimum Requirements
- High school or equivalent (or higher)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Registered Radiologic Technologist in Mammography is required
- 8 years of experience as Mammography Technologist
Preferred Requirements
- Bone density experience
- If no bone density experience, applicant should be willing to learn
- Applicant should be willing to assist in accreditations and various governing surveys
