Job description

Makes monthly inspections of the facility including buildings, grounds and vehicles.

Corrects possible dangerous conditions immediately.

Serves as safety officer.

Keeps all equipment in safe working condition.

Ensures snow removal occurs from drive and sidewalks as necessary.

Attends monthly program and quarterly corporate infection control/safety of the environment.

Maintains grounds such as buildings, painting, window repair, walls and furniture.

Cleans air conditioners, vents and filters on furnace.

Oversees and inventories camping room.

Takes inventory of all maintenance and cleaning supplies and submits this to the Executive Director.

Attends quarterly infection control meetings and implements sound infection control practices.

Maintains furnace room and keeps it free of debris and clutter.

Capable of being on call for emergency transportation.

Implements Saint Francis Ministries policies and follows directives as required. Follows and adheres to all pertinent Saint Francis Ministries Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), rules, personnel policies and procedures; related accreditation and licensure standards; and federal, state and local rules, statutes, regulations, and all contractual terms.

Reports unusual incidents through appropriate Risk Management, clinical and safety channels.

Ensures clients’ rights are protected.

Is knowledgeable of and follows all safety procedures

Experience

Preferred
