Maintenance Technician – Part Time

Viking Restaurants – a Burger King Franchise operating in MN, ND, SD

Viking Restaurants is seeking a maintenance technician who will help maintain and repair equipment. You will also learn the planned routine maintenance for upkeep of our 27 Burger King restaurants. This is a part-time position that requires weekend availability on a rotating basis.

Job duties include:

• Facility preventative maintenance – on site training provided
• Equipment Repair and Preventative maintenance – on site training provided
• Basic computer skills

Schedule:

• Typical schedule will include weekends
• Will include rotating on-call shifts --nights – weekends

• Work schedule could change and lead to a full-time position.

Requirements:

• Could be based in St. Cloud area or Twin Cities Metro
• Must be at least 18 yrs old with a valid driver’s license
• Must have reliable vehicle. Company pays milage
• Working with company provided tools, parts, and maintenance equipment.
• Must be able to climb stairs and ladders
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs
• Must pass post-offer background check – including motor vehicle.
• This position is also responsible for effectively working with and communicating with members of the BK management team at the restaurant level and above.
• Must be able to work independently

Experience that may prove helpful:

• Refrigeration HVAC experience.
• Mechanical/electrical experience.
• Diagnostic/troubleshooting and preventative maintenance experience.

Wage:

• Wage - $22 to $26 per hour - depending on experience

Job Type: Part-time approximately 25-30 hours per month – primarily weekends
