Job description
Perform work involving the skills to keep machines, mechanical equipment, or the structure of Peterson Regional Medical Center in proper operating condition. Duties may involve pipe fitting; boiler making; insulating; welding; machining; carpentry; repairing electrical or mechanical equipment; installing, aligning, and balancing new equipment; and repairing buildings, floors, or stairs.
Required Education:
High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Education:
Trade School
Required Technical Skills:
Basic knowledge of Healthcare facilities equipment and systems
Preferred Technical Skills:
2 years experience in Healthcare Facilities maintenance
Preferred Licensure/Registration/Certification:
EPA Refrigerant License
Required Experience:
1 year in Hospital maintenance or light commercial maintenance
Preferred Experience:
2 years experience in Hospital facilities maintenance
