Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Troubleshoot and Identify problems with refrigeration and other mechanical equipment
• Perform repairs and maintenance on refrigeration and other mechanical equipment
• Conduct routine maintenance on automated equipment and refrigeration systems
• Maintain documentation of the services performed

The ideal candidate will need:

• Relative Work Experience: 1-3 years related work experience (refrigeration, HVAC and electro-mechanical troubleshooting and repairs) OR qualified Certificate Program in HVAC
• Ability to read electrical and refrigeration schematics
• Knowledge on making repairs to electric pumps and motors.
• Experience in general repairs to automated equipment.
• Responds to facility related emergencies, as assigned
• Education: High school diploma (AS/BS in refrigeration discipline or other technical discipline preferred).
• Certifications / Licenses: EPA Universal certification preferred or willing to attend training to obtain EPA certification. Must hold valid driver's license.
• Computer Systems / Software: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
