Responsibilities

• Supports operation of Production, Logistics, and other departments by making repairs, adjustments, and improvements, installing new equipment and managing & operating utility equipment, in timely manner with minimum cost
• Respond to service request from Production and the other departments and perform appropriate trouble shooting, repair or improvement
• Improve production efficiency, energy consumption, amount of waste, maintenance cost, work safety and work environment with continuous effort
• Communicate with shift supervisor and coworkers to complete work order
• Maintain tools, machine parts, supplies and workshop well
• Manage and operate utility equipment including but not limited to CNC Machines
• Conduct company project helping maintenance manager and related department
• Monitor, repair, maintain and troubleshoot all field electrical equipment and control systems including building safety and power systems.
• Perform Protective, Predictive and corrective maintenance programs and daily tasks and chick lists
• Maintain, install and troubleshoot process equipment systems comprised of mechanical and electrical systems
• Monitor and document observations for all facility equipment including plant safety systems and plant power systems
• Fulfill all completed maintenance work orders on daily basis and help with filing and organizing them
• Communicate any open work orders with Maintenance Team Leaders and transfer them to the following shift with details about the work to be completed
• Maintains and repairs production precision mills and lathe
• Coordinate the repair of manufacturing equipment
• This includes electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Perform machine qualifications as required for installations and repairs
• Troubleshoot and repair control & electrical system failures involving – PLCs, HMIs, servomotors, servo amplifiers, input/output, field sensors, and more
• This includes what the machine was doing, adjustments made, parts replaced, etc
• Communicate to supervisor and/or other shifts to assure continuity of ongoing projects and repairs
• Install and repair electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment
• Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment
• Maintain an adequate supply of backup tooling, fixtures, components, etc
• keep the production equipment operating
• Ensure Company safety policies and procedures are understood by employees and implemented consistently
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• At least two years of related work experience required
• Certification from college or technical school preferred
• Demonstrable experience may be accepted in lieu of credentials
• Perform tool offset corrections and position adjustments on multi-axis automated CNC equipment
• Must be able to read and follow blueprints and schematics
• Working knowledge of electrical, electronic controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical, cutting, welding, fabrication and tooling
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment in all the aforementioned areas
• Sense of urgency and self-motivation; ability to work independently
• Computer literacy with ability to learn new computer software programs
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Attention to detail with strong organizational skills
