Job Title: Maintenance Technician - Blown Film Facility
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with expertise in general electrical systems, troubleshooting of drives, PLC knowledge, electric motors, servo motors, and hydraulics. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting preventative maintenance, diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical problems, and maintaining machinery and equipment to ensure smooth operation and minimal downtime.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems and machinery to identify potential issues and ensure optimal performance of blown film production lines.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems, including issues with drives, PLCs, electric motors, servo motors, and hydraulics.
- Repair and replace faulty electrical and mechanical components and systems, including wiring, switches, fuses, and circuit breakers.
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical and mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment to minimize downtime and ensure efficient operation of blown film production lines.
- Conduct tests and inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with other maintenance and production teams to ensure timely repairs and minimal disruptions to production.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification in electrical or mechanical maintenance preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance, with a focus on troubleshooting of drives, PLCs, electric motors, servo motors, and hydraulics.
- Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, including wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical problems using various tools and techniques.
- Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment, such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and amp meters, as well as hydraulic and pneumatic tools and equipment.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices for working with electrical and mechanical systems and machinery.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $32.00 per hour
