JOB SUMMARY includes, but not limited to:
This position is a full time position. The primary Function of this position is to report to the Maintenance Manager. The position will be responsible for the mechanical and electrical repairs and installation as assigned. Respond to breakdowns and perform preventative maintenance of machines. Also assist in oversight of all production areas to ensure safety, quality, attendance, and production standards are being met.
- Perform preventative maintenance on machinery as scheduled
- Repair machinery as needed
- Install new machinery and electrical components
- Communicate with management and operators regarding machine operations
- Maintain maintenance and repair logs on all machines
- Ensure employees are working in a safe manner
- Ensure company policies are followed
- Communicate with all levels of management
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prior experience in production equipment maintenance
- Experience with mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
- Fluent in using VOM meter and wiring diagrams
- Work history showing electrical and mechanical experience
- Knowledge of OSHA requirements for workplace safety
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook)
- Strong attention to accuracy and precision.
- Must have open availability and be available for on call duty
- Must have no disciplinary actions or attendance issues within the past 90 days.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- This is an evening/overnight position
- Must have open availability to work including weekends
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
- Overtime will be required from time to time per business needs
- Shifts will be split between office and manufacturing environments
- Standing and walking on concrete for extended periods of time
- Lifting up to 60 pounds unassisted
- Regular pushing, pulling, reaching, bending, squatting, crawling, and climbing
- Forklift operation
- Boom lift operation
- Working in confined spaces
- Working at heights over 3 feet
- Working in dusty environments
- Exposure to mechanical and cleaning chemicals
- Working in various climates ranging from hot to cold
- Working on industrial machinery
- Working with electricity
