The Position: We are looking for a Maintenance Planner for the Wire Mill to manage equipment maintenance throughout the Wire Mill.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage equipment maintenance throughout the Wire Mill.
  • Utilize a maintenance software package, create equipment asset list, build preventative/predictive tasks, generate work orders, and maintain action item logs.
  • Perform PM audits and create key performance indicators such as scheduled vs. completed, delinquent PMs, dashboards with department objectives.
  • Coordinate maintenance outages along with working with operations departments and the Engineering department.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned that support the objective of the position.

Requirements:

  • High School or GED education required
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills
  • Assertive and goal oriented self-starter with a positive attitude.
  • Must be able to prioritize and be extremely detail oriented.
  • Must demonstrate ability to learn quickly and work independently.
  • Ability to use personal computers, Microsoft Software and Maintenance software package.
  • Ability to interface effectively with members of supervision, personnel from other departments and union personnel.
  • 1-3 months of related experience or training.
  • Manufacturing or supervisory experience.
  • Technical training and/or certification related to specific mechanical systems(s) a plus.


PAY RANGE: $56,800 - $71,000
