Job description

The ideal candidate will have experience and a background in general electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and HVAC work. The Maintenance Manager will need to possess a variety of skills including organization, excellent communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and work well under pressure. The Maintenance Manager will oversee occasional sub-contractors and be responsible for delivering high-quality maintenance services to the apartment complex. Ideal candidate will agree to background and drug screening.

Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain a comprehensive and environmentally and financially sound building maintenance and repair plan in accordance with the organization's goals and objectives.
• Organize and implement preventative maintenance programs at all locations that include, but are not limited to, routine inspections, cleaning procedures, pest control procedures, and inventory management procedures.
• Coordinate the repair of building systems such as heating, ventilation/air conditioning, plumbing, electricity, carpentry, painting.
• Set priorities for the repair of building systems based on their need for maintenance or repair.
• Perform all duties in a safe and timely manner in accordance with all safety regulations.
• Maintain a positive attitude towards coworkers and clients.
• Supervise and train other employees.
