Delaware Basin

Spanning West Texas through Southeast New Mexico, ConocoPhillips holds approximately 709,000 total net acres in the Delaware Basin, which includes approximately 654,000 unconventional net acres. ConocoPhillips began exploring and appraising the basin’s stacked pay potential in 2012. The position grew to its current size through the Concho and Shell transactions. Entering 2022, the company now operates over 2,200 wells throughout the Basin. Average net production across the basin in 2021 was 286 MBOED.

Description

If you are selected as the Maintenance Lead, you will lead several corrective and preventative maintenance activities and will be responsible for communications and support within the asset's operating areas.

This is a Safety Sensitive position.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Accountable for the safety of every person on the job site and the execution of the maintenance activity as planned
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance programs including defect elimination process
• Collaborate with key support groups and customers to ensure goal alignment with Asset & Operating Integrity (A&OI) program & Health Safety & Environmental (HSE) requirements
• Managing job assignments for contractors
• Maintaining a close link on the planning and scheduling function driving strict discipline in observation of the various work schedules
• Work with Operations to ensure accurate prioritization of work
• Managing of change/risk assessment responsibilities
• Leading the maintenance and reliability efforts within the asset to improve equipment reliability while focusing on the management of field maintenance activities
• Leading and participating in incident investigations when needed
• Drive contractor safety through HSE Management System & contractor management, safety orientations and management reviews with vendors
• Establish procedure and guidelines and ensures that all work activities are performed according to the established procedures, guidelines and schedules
• Identify requirements to maintain appropriate skills for company and contract personnel

Basic/Required:

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States as a U.S. citizen or national, or an alien admitted as a permanent resident, refugee or asylee
• Current/Valid Driver's License
• 3+ years of experience in operation and maintenance of oilfield equipment
• 1+ years of experience providing guidance to work crews
• Willing and able (with or without reasonable accommodation) to travel 10% of the time on a yearly basis

Preferred:

• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft O365 applications: Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams and Word
• Intermediate proficiency with SAP, SAP-PM, etc
• 1+ years of experience in collecting accurate and meaningful data and extract trends and useful information to help improve operations
• 1+ years of work order management, planning, and scheduling
• Listens actively and invites new ideas for exchanged opinions, then influences and acts to drive positive performance and achieve results
• Takes ownership of actions and follows through on commitments by holding others accountable and standing up for what's right
• Delivers positive results through realistic planning to accomplish goals
• Builds effective solutions based on available information and makes timely decisions that are safe and ethical
