St. Teresa Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, in Manchester, NH is looking for an experienced part-time Maintenance Assistant to join our Environmental Services team.

Part time - Work Schedule - Friday and Saturday - 7:30am to 3:30pm

Maintenance Assistant Job Responsibilities;

• Perform routine maintenance and repair on the facility and equipment to include plumbing, plastering, electrical, carpentry, mechanical, etc., as directed
• Service heating and cooling units/systems, as specified by the manufacturer, and in compliance with established policies and procedures and under the direction of the Environmental Services Director
• Replace burned out light bulbs, to include, exit lights, overhead lights, fluorescent lights, room call lights, etc., and perform cleaning duties in high places
• Perform routine maintenance on grounds, parking areas, driveways, etc., by cutting, trimming, policing, sweeping as directed
• Ensure that maintenance schedules are followed as outlined for respective shift or area and perform unscheduled maintenance tasks, as directed
• Assist others in lifting heavy equipment, supplies, etc. as requested
• Ensure that established Infection Control and Universal Precautions practices are maintained when performing maintenance procedures
