This position requires Machine and Facilities Maintenance skills and experience. Ability to troubleshoot and hands-on ability to fix routine breakdowns and keep equipment and facilities in good running condition.

The goal of the position is to repair and maintain mostly simple (large restaurant-type) equipment and maintain supporting infrastructure: Coolers/freezers, plumbing, lighting, building maintenance etc. This position also supports the flow of materials and products inside the company and externally from supplier to customer.

Compensation is based on experience and education and will include base hourly pay plus monthly bonuses for timely and successful work. So you can affect your compensation by personal contribution and performance. Hours may vary to meet the requirements of the production processes if maintenance or repair is required so flexibility is a needed personal trait.

To perform this job correctly requires experience and trade and construction skills with items and systems such as mixers, grinders, mills, small motors, electric motors, refer truck etc. Detailed professional work is required and dedication to organization and accuracy is important,

Physically able and willing to move heavy (50+lbs) items when necessary.

Be reliable and able to arrive early each morning in Floyd Virginia

Be willing to take random drug tests if requested and have a clean driver’s license.

The primary focus of daily activities includes:

1) To maintain a safe and clean work environment

2) To work constructively with production team members to support production processes.

3) Make daily decisions for selecting and arranging the best-choice options to optimize costs.

Compensation includes a base hourly pay plus supplemental pay for task completion so you can affect your compensation by personal contribution and performance.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
