Job description
a. Install, implement, configure, maintain, and support z/OS and third-party system software.
b. Analyze performance bottlenecks and tune z/OS and third-party software accordingly.
c. Provide assistance to staff and customers to resolve mainframe software issues.
d. Provide assistance in the maintenance and preparation of project plans for testing and implementing system and ISV software.
e. Develop and maintain documentation relevant to z/OS environment including operational procedures, problem determination and problem resolution.
f. Provide general Top-Secret and ACF2 administration.
g. Provide RACF administration for system users, dataset profiles, facility classes and general RACF configuration.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
a. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
b. Demonstrate effective writing and documentation skills.
c. Knowledge of project management principles.
d. Ability to analyze requirements, evaluate technical options, and assess feasibility.
