NOW HIRING: We are looking for Machine Operators to run a variety of machines within our Ring and Cylinder division on 1st or 2nd shift OR in our Pole division on 1st, 2nd, 3rd or Weekend shifts! 1st shift is Monday - Thursday 5am - 3pm, 2nd shift is Monday - Thursday 3pm - 1am includes a $1.50/hour shift premium on top of your base rate, and weekend shift is Friday - Sunday 5am-5pm which includes a $2.50/hour shift premium on top of your base rate. Millerbernd offers a 4-day work week for 1st AND 2nd shifts and a 3-day work week for Weekend shift! All overtime is voluntary overtime when you want overtime!

The Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, loading and unloading various machines/equipment to manufacture metal products in accordance with product specifications.

Essential Job Functions

• Setup, adjust and operate 8 or more level I machines and 1-3 Level 2 machines
• Diagnose operating problems and make adjustments or minor repairs
• Load and feed metal stock and other materials into manual or automatic machines
• Verify end parts are consistent with blue print specifications. Accurately label all parts for routing to next operation

Qualifications

• Skill of effective and appropriate verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Ability to use various measuring devices; tape measures, squares, and calipers
• Set up and safe operations of equipment

• YCM Mill
• Bay 2 Press or Warehouse Press (to roll the tapered shafts in the Pole division)
• Drilling and Buffing of wind turbine door frames
• Torch operator
• Dozer operator
