Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)

We are looking for a passionate and professional Licensed Vocational Nurse / LVN to join our team at the Elmwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. We currently have flexible availability for AM and PM, and NOC shifts. Part-time, full-time, and Per Diem schedules are available. No prior experience is required.

1. Maintain medical records and monitor the vital signs of patients. Record patient information and help to administer medication, injections, and treatments.

2. Supervise CNA staff and monitor their needs. Supervising the care of unit patients, including managing the treatment area and controlling reporting, documentation, and fiscal requirements.

3. Coordinating daily administrative duties, including schedules, nursing assignments, and patient care. Cooperating with physicians and other staff to ensure that patient and nurse needs are met.

4. Overseeing patient admissions, transfers, and discharges. Providing excellent customer service to all clients

5. Monitoring medical charts and providing compassionate care

6. Answer patients’ calls and determine how to assist them.

7. Collect samples, such as blood, urine, or sputum from patients, and perform routine laboratory tests.

8. All other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Per diem

Pay: $37.00 - $40.00 per hour
