Additional Technology Information: The open position is for LRD Operations Analyst 2 at the Louisville Repair Depot. The person selected must be able to work onsite in the Louisville Repair Depot as scheduled. Must be able to work independently and be comfortable communicating effectively with customers, vendors and support personnel. This position will process customer orders, billing and reporting for the daily operations of the LRD. Must be organized and detail oriented and have excellent communication and customer service skills. The primary focus of this position is to provide advanced administration support for all facets of LRD operations. The Operations Analyst works with others to establish and improve processes and procedures. Provide administration support for all facets of infrastructure system operations. Provide day-to-day technical supervision and 2nd level support in multiple locations. Responsible for usage/performance reports distribution, interfacing to enterprise processes such as incident, problem and change management, job scheduling, system automation, and analytical tasks as assigned by management. Essential Job Functions
- Provide technical support to diagnose, analyze, research and resolve simple computer incidents for internal and external customers
- Recognize, research, isolate, resolve and document problems with information system products and services
- Document and route customer escalations and recommend appropriate technical team or resource to help resolve issues
- Monitor and respond to system error conditions
- Execute, log and report break/fixes changes, service requests and support activities
- Follow documented processes and procedures to ensure infrastructure systems stability
- Maintain operational procedures, processes and scripts
- Provide usage, performance, service level, compliance and audit reporting
- Report and monitor service upgrades (e.g. security fixes, etc.)
- Test and support software, hardware upgrades that directly affect their area of expertise
- Assist in the completion of project plans for the implementation, and rollout of new, or updated software and processes
- Partner and communicate with external vendors to deliver results
- May require travel to work locations
- Must be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation
Minimum Position Qualifications
- Any prior experience in adjacent technologies
- Proven PC skills in Windows, Microsoft Word and Excel Spreadsheets
- Proven communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate information to customers and to all levels within the organization
- Strong customer service skills
- May be required to work weekends
Desired Previous Experience/Education
- Associate Degree in Information Systems or related equivalent work experience in an IS position
- 1 year of experience in supporting IT Infrastructure or Security services
- Any previous retail experience
