Bay Port of Fort Walton Beach is an upscale assisted living and memory care community in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, just a few miles north of the Gulf of Mexico coast. We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) that embodies our core values of Character, Compassion, Commitment, Communication and Consistency by providing the highest standard of care and first-class customer service.

In the role of a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) your primary duties will include performing assigned nursing procedures for the comfort and well-being of residents such as assisting in the admission of new residents, and assisting with activities of daily living when needed. Administers specified medications, accurately. Provides oversight of non-licensed nursing staff and participates in the evaluation of non-licensed staff. Will be required to accept calls from staff during nights and weekends.

Shift availability: Full-time

Schedule: 12-hour shift, days will vary, weekend availability

Rate of pay: $23.00 per hour depending on experience. Competitive shift differential for overnight shifts

Requirements

Education/Experience:

• High School diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Florida Nursing or Compact Licensure
• Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
• Must have attention to detail, be flexible/adaptable, have safety awareness, and be a team player.
• Must successfully pass a Level 2 background screening.
