A loving family residing in Mott Haven, Bronx, NY, is looking for a confident, organized nanny for their infant. The ideal candidate for this role is someone with newborn experience. Someone that can create a nurturing and stimulating atmosphere for their baby child. (E,g, reading to baby, interacting with them, having planned activities, coordinating family calendar, keeping their things organized, and more.)

The nanny must be professional, caring, proactive, a self-starter, and know how to troubleshoot issues independently. Lastly, the parents will have some days where they would work from home. The nanny must be comfortable working in close partnership with both parents.

This position is a live-out position:

• The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM. (40 hrs. a week.) Additional hours may be required with notice. So, an ideal candidate who is flexible.

Pet Care:

The family has a cat. The nanny would not need to care for the cat.

Compensation & Benefits:

• This position is paid gross with overtime. This position is $35-$40 per hour, PTO (e.g, paid federal holidays, two weeks of vacation, and sick days.)
• A discretionary performance bonus.

Covid Risk Tolerance:

The family is strict on Covid.

Start Date: Begins on 03/20/2023. This is a long-term role.

Position Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Safety first.
• Pitch-in attitude regarding general maintenance and cleanliness of the infant
• Follows parents’ approach to childcare and embraces family parenting style
• Manage daily care and supervision of the infant
• Adhere to the infant’s schedule (e.g., School drop-off and pick-ups and any planned playdates and after-school activities.)
• Facilitate intellectual development (e.g., words, numbers, stories, puzzles, overlooking any school work, etc.)
• Facilitate social development, helping to make connections with friends and attending playdates and classes
• Ability to plan fun activities, keeping the infant active and engage
• Ability to make very simple meals for the infant.
• Laundry for the infant.
• Manage all aspects of the infant’s property with utmost cleanliness and organization, including meals/snacks and clean-up, hanging clothes after laundry, cleaning toys/books, diaper bags, etc.

Qualifications:

• US, Work Authorization
• Minimum of 5 years of professional Nanny experience
• Newborn experience
• Up to date on all vaccinations
• Covid vaccination and boosted

CPR and First-Aid certifications

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
