Job description

Currently hiring 1 role for our Nordstrom Rack store located in Kildeer IL, The shifts will vary but tend to be 10a-7p, 11a-8p, and 12p-9p with weekend availability necessary in a retail environment. Previous Loss Prevention / Asset Protection experience is preferred along with someone who can be self sufficient and is comfortable working by themselves often. The pay will be determined based on experience, with a starting rate up to $22.80 per hour.

The ideal asset protection agent conducts internal and external surveillance to control product loss. They are first responders to emergency situations, lead loss prevention initiatives, and partner with managers to reduce loss and injuries throughout the store.

A day in the life…

• Maintain the general safety of customers, employees and the store
• Assess and assist in emergency situations
• Perform monitoring and surveillance activities to identify indicators for internal or external theft
• Conduct external and internal investigations, documenting all loss prevention incidents properly
• Reduce and control loss of inventory through audits, training and education
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality
