LCRA is looking for a motivated individual to join our Supply Chain team who will support growth and process improvement as a Logistics Supervisor. This role will be providing on-site support at our Dalchau Service Center Inventory Warehouse, located in Austin. This position will have responsibility for various inventory warehouse functions including, but not limited to, coordination and direction of shipping, receiving and stockroom activities for multiple warehouses, storage areas and laydown yards throughout various enterprise facilities. You will be trusted to:

  • Have knowledge and experience in the following areas

warehouse/stores operations and procedures * materials, supplies and equipment for assigned work area

  • maintenance and construction concepts and materials
  • budgeting and cost management
  • accounting principles and practices
  • ERP or software applications for supply management and work management processes
  • office productivity applications (such as email, word processing, spreadsheets, etc.)
  • providing leadership, direction and supervision to staff
  • providing training and coaching to staff
  • using work management systems
  • verbal and written communication
  • problem resolution
  • providing oversight and maintaining effective internal controls
  • meeting deadlines
  • reading and interpreting diagrams and prints
  • organizing and communicating information in response to questions from internal and

external customers * work in a team environment

  • balance competing and high priority work demands

You qualify with:

  • Nine or more years of experience in materials management, warehouse operations, inventory management, logistics or supply management.
  • A degree(s) in logistics, supply management, warehouse operations or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.
  • Driver's license
