As a Logistics Specialist I, you will be responsible for providing logistics support, including order entry, routing and dispatching, and traffic coordination for Crusoe Energy Systems.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments including heavy haul equipment, LTL loads and full truck hot shots
  • Respond to inquiries and refer people to the proper channels
  • Review purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy
  • Make special shipping arrangements as necessary
  • Track and fix shipping errors
  • Confer or correspond with transportation companies to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, or non-conformance to specifications
  • Work with the accounting department to reconcile bills and invoices.
  • Develop processes that make the supply chain more efficient and organized
  • Reconcile UPS WorldShip and handle all communication with UPS Rep
  • Analyze business requirements, develop and execute sourcing strategies and initiatives
  • Manage inventory, as well as warehouse, transportation and other logistics processes
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (supply chain & logistics concentration is a plus)
  • 1+ years experience in a logistics role
  • Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) experience
  • UPS WorldShip experienceImport experience is a plus
  • Experience working with Google Suite of products
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong team player
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written
  • Quickly adapts to change with positive and constructive feedback
  • A high level of attention to detail in all aspects of their work
  • Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes
  • Must be able to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination
  • Must be able to pass a background check, and drug/alcohol test
