Universal International is looking for a person-focused individual to join our team in the role of Logistics Sales Manager. You will partner with a fast paced lineup of professionals who build each other up and care about the individuals they serve while being supported by a strong company culture. In this position you will be responsible for bringing in new opportunities and managing existing customer relationships. This will require timely response to all forms of communication and proactively setting up virtual and in person face to face visits on a regular basis.
For this role, our ideal candidate has sales and/or account management experience in International Transportation including both ocean and air. Responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities for this position will include maintaining a healthy pipeline of new prospects and contracting new customers to grow the business. You will also manage existing business, have face to face and virtual meetings with customers and prospects, report to leadership weekly on their status, and hold operations accountable to customer KPIs. To do this you will be required to analyze customer data and detect opportunities for growth as well as assess risk for slippage. You will also develop action plans to recover slipping business by reviewing customer scorecards, monitoring trends, and working with internal and external customers to resolve service issues. Finally, you will have the opportunity to manage pricing opportunities in order to land new and expand existing business.

Salary: $80,000 base salary with bonus incentives.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
